He gained an important experience in international law firms and then founded the law firm Francesco Arecco (www.francescoarecco.it), which collaborates with Macchi di Cellere Gangemi from 2013. In the Francesco Arecco law firm, the competences of Lucia Bitto converge on the basis of a ten-year collaboration.
He specializes in administrative and commercial law, with a particular focus on environmental and energy law.
One of his dowries is to coordinate complex work groups, including colleagues working in other areas of activity, technicians and economists.
He worked in Turin Smart City 2011 and Palermo Smart City 2014.
He was the creator and scientific coordinator of Energy Nextville Training, sustainable energy Master and renewables Ipsoa and author of a dozen volumes of administrative law, environment and energy. He writes for prestigious national newspapers.
He is co-curator of the Energy series and the Compliance series (for Wki-Ipsoa), the Sustainability series (for Meltemi) and the Resilience series (for Mimesis).
He has lectured on contract for the Master energy of Politecnico di Milano and the University of Genoa.
Has carried out scientific activities with the European Community as:
• Member of the Special Expert Group of the FP-VII European project RESILIENT, Interaction and Integration between buildings, grids, heating and cooling networks, and Energy storage and Energy generation systems;
• Member of the Advisory Board for the FP-VII European project EHUB, Energy-Hub for residential and commercial districts and transport.
