    Pietro has more than 20 years of experience in advising Italian and foreign companies in both buy-side and sell-side transactions, also in the frame of competitive and/or distressed procedures. His clients include Italian entrepreneurs and companies (also listed), as well as multinational groups that have invested in Italy in a variety of sectors (from automotive to financial services industry).
    A specific expertise and passion is dedicated to cross-border French/Italian transactions and to French clients, benefiting from being Italian and French native.
    In the field of extraordinary transactions, he has followed, directed and coordinated numerous important deals from the initial due diligence phases to the drafting and negotiation of all contractual documents. Several foreign investors (and domestic entrepreneurs) have also relied on his support for the management of ordinary and extraordinary post-deal activities on an ongoing basis.
    In February 2020 he was recognised by the independent economic newspaper Milano Finanza as one of the 30 best Italian lawyers in the M&A small cap market (i.e. EV up to €25m) on the basis of the transactions he advised in the previous 12 months.
    He has also dealt with important real estate transactions involving Italian trophy assets of great value (up to 100m€), assisting buyers (mainly HNWIs) in all phases of the process.
    Since 2018 he holds the position of non-executive independent director in an Italian joint-stock company that passed through several rounds of capital increase and which is the owner of one of the most promising fintech payment solutions on the market.
