He joined the Firm in 2021. Arcangelo specialises in international M&A transactions and joint ventures. He has long-standing experience advising on international projects, in particular between the UK and EU. He advises a wide range of investment funds and major Italian and international companies on deal tax structuring and due diligence as well as on tax assessments and dispute resolution. His industry expertise includes energy and infrastructure, healthcare, credit and the real estate sector.
Arcangelo worked with major international tax firms in Milan and for several years in London, where he led numerous market-leading cross-border structuring and due diligence projects, advising either on buyside or sellside in relation to origination, acquisitions/disposals as well as post deal situations e.g. incentivisation, groups integration and refinancing.
Law degree summa cum laude at Università degli Studi di Milano in 2002. He was awarded a one-year scholarship to conduct a doctoral research on EU law at Cardiff University (UK) and in 2015 was admitted to attend the LLM programme at the King’s College London.
Admitted to practice before the Italian Tax Courts in 2006. Member of the Milan Association of Chartered Tax Advisors. Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales since 2008. Honorary Citizen and member of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers of the City of London since 2016.
