• Professional experience:

    He joined the Firm in 2020. His background is that of a long and distinguished career as in-house Counsel of major international oil companies. He has a profound understanding of the Oil & Gas industry from the negotiation to the management of petroleum agreements and the resolution of disputes, both commercial and investor-state. This also informs his work as arbitrator. Francesco renders legal advice and assistance to Italian and foreign companies with respect to contractual and investment matters in the Oil & Gas industry. He advises on the legal and strategic direction of the negotiation and drafting of petroleum agreements (production sharing agreements, service contracts, joint operating agreements, farm-out agreements, transport agreements etc.), as well as in relation to any dispute resolution in the Oil & Gas sector. He also sits as arbitrator/presiding arbitrator in domestic and international disputes and is particularly skilled in negotiating settlements of highly complex disputes.
